About Me

Hi!

My name is Steve Richer.  I was born in 1972 and lived in Guernsey in the Channel Islands until 2006.   After getting married, I then moved up to the beautiful Scottish capital city of Edinburgh, which is where my lovely wife Karen comes from.

I currently work in a non-medical post for NHS Lothian, having previously been employed in the Guernsey Civil Service in several departments, most latterly in a Human Resources role within Guernsey Police.

Outside of work, I am passionate about my creative hobbies, which include music, video and photography.  I have also dabbled in web design and design for print.

Of the above hobbies, my main interest is music.  I play several instruments and enjoy recording, arranging and producing both my own songs and working with others on theirs.  I also compose instrumental music, and have written the music for several local TV adverts in the past.
